How Our Network Works

Who You Talk To
There are two parties in this process. The first is Opensalways Pest Control, the referral service. We take your details and point you toward a fit. The second is an independent provider, a local business that carries out the pest or wildlife work.
The provider is not an employee of Opensalways Pest Control. Picture a community bulletin board. The board helps neighbors find each other, but the neighbors run their own shops.
What Happens on the Call
The call is short and simple. You describe what you are seeing, where in the house it is happening and how long it has been going on. You may be asked about the type of pest, the age of the home or whether you have pets or children at home.
Then your call is routed to a provider in our network that handles that kind of problem near you. That provider takes over, answers your questions and talks about the next step. Hours vary by provider, so ask about availability early.
What to Ask a Provider
A few good questions can save you time and money. Try these:
- What kind of pest or animal do you think this is, and how did you tell?
- What will the treatment involve, and how long does it usually take?
- Is the quote in writing, and what does it include?
- Will you look for the entry points, or only treat what you see?
- Are the products safe around pets and children, and what should I do before and after?
- Is there a follow-up visit if the problem returns?
- For wildlife, how do you handle animals humanely and close the openings afterward?
It is like asking a doctor for the diagnosis before agreeing to the medicine. A calm, clear answer is a good sign.
You Are in Control
Calling does not commit you to anything. You can ask for a written estimate, compare it with another, or step away. Costs vary by job and by season, so treat any number you hear on the phone as a rough guide until it is written down.
If something feels rushed or unclear, say so. A provider worth hiring will slow down and explain.
